Interserver provides
shared, vps and dedicated hosting powered by Croogo
Croogo CMS is an open source system that is built with power and flexibility in mind. It is free to
download and use and is easy to get up and running. The CMS is built using CakePHP, which is popular
right now and good for quick coding changes and has other benefits as well. It also allows you to use
either a MySQL database or a PostgreSQL database, which will be helpful for some webmasters who
either want to use both or like having the option to choose what works best for them.
While there are some very nice benefits about this platform, there are also some significant drawbacks.
For example, the as of this writing (January 26th, 2016) latest release was version 2.2.2, which came out
in April of 2015. There aren’t too many sites built using this system compared to many of the others
either, which can limit your ability to see it in action.
