This is due to cpanel's /etc/localdomains vs /etc/remotedomains

If an account is not set up on your server it is a remote domain. When an account is set up on your server the domain must be in one of these files. By default it is in localdomains.

When an email is sent out from a cPanel server, exim checks /etc/localdomains and /etc/remotedomains in order to send the email to the correct place. If the domain is in /etc/localdomains, the mail is routed locally to the machine. If the domain is in /etc/remotedomains, the email is routed out to the Internet.

So to have the email on an account on your server go to a remote mail server, remove it from /etc/localdomains and add it to /etc/remotedomains

Interserver.net said that they removed remotedomains, but still it does not work. Do I need to add remotedomains, back?
