Internet privacy

Hi everybody,
I just want to know what do you think about the NSA and other agencies like this spying on you, on your computer, phone etc. everywhere you have an internet connection. Are you worried about your privacy being violated and if so, do you try to encrypt any data or you just let it slide by like it(the spying) doesn't happening since you're doing nothing wrong.
Every time I watch pornography, which is wrong to do, I am really trying to break the habit of it, I find it disturbing what it says when you open up the incognito window. Your browsing session is private except from employers. Employers are under the government. So basically the government knows everything you are doing. Pretty scary.

I do not think privacy really exists in the online world. Everything you do is being monitored by the government. So do things online as if you have nothing to hide. They say that terrorists conduct business online so by monitoring our internet usage terrorists can be caught before they blow up someone.

I am very conscious about privacy issues. I always control what I share and what I don't share. I won't tolerate anyone spying on me. However, it the spy is from government agency I cannot do anything on this regard.

I am not worried about it because I have nothing to hide. The fact is that people seem over-sensitive about all of this, but what they don't know is that phone lines were tapped during the cold war - phones were the hi-tech of that time. Communication media will always be monitored. Also, its not people who are going through your data, its computers. Only if the computer suspects you will a human monitor your activities, at which point, if they don't find anything wrong with you for a month or two, they'll forget about you. Its all done so people can be safe. Encryption and all sounds great, but is unnecessary.

To be honest, I don't search for anything bad at all nor am I involved in any illegal activities. So am I afraid of the authorities spying on me? Nope. But am I irritated by it? Yes! I mean, internet activities by each person should be personal. The authorities shouldn't have any take on this because it is our lives and we should do what we want with it. It's frustrating to think that they can have access to what we search for and what we do online.
