Interserver always gives me the same ip, that good or bad?

Hello everyone,

I just hired an interserver reseller recently and I see that they always offer me the same ip, this is something that did not happen to me with hostgator, namecheap, etc. My question is, is this good or bad? Is there any advantage or disadvantage involved?

Stay tuned to your comments,
Thank you.

By default accounts share an ip address - including reseller. In the past dedicated ips were needed for things like SSL, but now everything including ssl can run on a shared ip. Since there is a shortage of ipv4 addresses sharing ips is beneficial. According to google there is also no benefit for seo having a dedicated ip.
