VPS OS versions

If we decided to install either Ubuntu or Fedora to a VPS, would they be current versions? The OS page shows an old version for Ubuntu, and Fedora doesn't specify a version. We want to install the same version on the VPS & our dev server here.
Thanks!

Ubuntu up to version 20 can be installed

Fedora is no longer available on kvm. I checked into what virtuozzo/openvz offers and 23 is the latest.

It is possible to know which version of Ubuntu your computer is running from the graphical interface if you’re running it in a desktop environment.

  1. First, we need to start the Ubuntu application and open up the System Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and look for the Details section and click on it.
You should now see a simple window with the basic information of the system. In it, we will be able to see, the version of Ubuntu that we are running at the moment.
