How to Add IP Address in Windows Firewall
According to your needs, you can configure Windows Firewall settings to add IP addresses in Windows with the Windows Firewall settings. You can follow the below steps to add IP address in Windows Firewall.
1) On the Start menu, Click ‘Windows Firewall with Advanced Security’.
2) Click the ‘Advanced settings’ option in the sidebar.
3) On the left side, click the option ‘Inbound Rules’.

Thanx a lot, thanx a lot, thanx a lot, keep helping like this
Does adding an address allow access to your computer OR prevent access. Mt fax provider has asked users to assure a particular address will be allowed, so I need to get this right. Thank you.

You should only add an ip address that needs such acess. I have a stsic ip address for a camera that you can’t ping if the access is not permitted. But the computer ip address is already covered under the network settings.
Worked great! Thank you.
I did the steps but i still can’t access my public ip due to connection timed out

I did all of the steps correctly, but on the last one when I click OK it says “you must specify a valid address”. Why is that?
