Change Default Country in WHMCS

WHM stands for the web host manager. It gives you administrative access to the backend of the cPanel. It means that you can easily manage billing and reseller accounts to your customers. WHM and cPanel are very popular. Because both of them combined are very popular and efficient at managing a web hosting business. Because of its popularity, it is used in many countries. And you as a hosting provider run your business in a specific country. It means that the majority of the customers you get are from a specific country. It means that setting a default country can be very convenient for your customers.

In WHM, you can update the default country directly from the admin panel. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to do that. So, let’s get started with the tutorial.

Log in to your WHMCS account and hover on the Setup option given in the top menu to reveal detailed options. Click on theĀ General Settings from the list of options you see in the drop-down menu.

Now, you will see a section with the title General Settings. In General, settings navigate to the Localisation tab to update localisation related settings.

In the Localisation section, you can update various settings like System Charset, Date Format, Client Date Format, Default Country and Default Language. Click on the Default country and select the country as per your requirements.

Finally, click on theĀ Save Changes button given at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
