The user can change the number of articles on the Joomla 3.1 front-page. The Joomla front page is a component that builds the introduction text of particular Joomla content items that is the article into the desired layout.
The front page features can be accessed by using a radio button at the top when editing an article on the administrator’s point.
In the case where the home or default menu item is the articles then in the front page layout, then all the articles that are set to appear here in their argument, will be organized according to the settings in the menu item.
Log in to your Joomla Dashboard.
In the top menu, click Content and then choose the article manager.
Click on options at the extreme right.
Find the setting labeled # Leading Articles, change the value next to it, and then click Save in the to left of the page.
Thus you can change the articles that appear on the front page.
