Configure UPS Shipping in Magento

UPS stands for United Parcel Service. It is one of the biggest logistics and supply chain management companies in the world. If you are ordering something on the internet, there are many chances that your order will be delivered by UPS. Because of its popularity, many eCommerce platforms like Magento and AbanteCart provide UPS shipping in their user interface. Setting up a new shipping method in Magento is easy too!

Magento provides many shipping methods that you can activate whenever you want. In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to add the UPS shipping method in your Magento store. The same method is used to add other shipping methods, so, once you will learn how to set up the UPS shipping method in Magento, You will be able to add more shipping methods easily. Configure UPS Shipping method in Magento

First of all, log in to the admin panel of your Magento store. Then, hover over the Store option as highlighted below. You will see a sub-menu that will contain more options. From the list of options in the sub-menu, click on the Configuration option just like the following screenshot.

In this section, click on the SALES option given in the left sidebar of the admin panel. From the list of sub-options, click on the Shipping Methods option.

On this page, you will get a list of shipping options you can set up in Magento by default. You can enable or disable each one of them from this page. From the list of shipping options available, find UPS and click on it to expand the section.

In this section, you will find a form just like the following image. To enable the shipping option set Enabled for checkout to Yes. Then, enter all the required information in the form based on the products you sell.

After entering all the required information in the form, click on the Save Config button to apply the changes. The shipping method will be activated instantly.
