You can configure Email account in Email clients like Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail etc. You can either configure the Email client automatically or manually.
Steps to Access:
1: Click on “More” option corresponds to the Email account.
2: Click on “Configure Email Client”.
As an example we can proceed with account configuration in Mozilla Thunderbird. In most cases Thunderbird will find out matching configuration for the Email account we want to configure. But it the configuration is not listed in Thunderbird’s database, we need to configure the account manually.
Download and install Thunderbird from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird
Open Thunderbird and choose option “Skip this and use my existing email”.
Next, we can see boxes to add our Name, Email address and password. Add them and click “Continue”.
Now Thunderbird tries to fetch Emails settings for the account from their database. From there click on “Manual Config” option. Here we need to specify the following configuration.
1: Incoming mail server and port.
Example: Incoming mail server (IMAP/POP): mail.yourdomain.com
Port: 143 for IMAP and 110 for POP
2: Outgoing mail server and port.
Example: Outgoing mail server(SMTP): mail.yourdomain.com
Port 25, 26 or 587
3: Security settings.
Example: STARTTLS or SSL/TLS
And it is done. Your Email account is configured now.
You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
