To enable maintenance mode in WHMCS, log in to the admin panel of your WHMCS and hover on the Setup option given in the main menu. It is a drop-down menu that will show you additional options. Click on the first option called General Settings.
In this section, you can quickly update the most important settings of your WHMCS. In this section, make sure you are on the General tab. If not, click on the General tab to navigate to the form that allows you to update the most basic settings.
In this form, you will find a checkbox with label Maintenance Mode. Check the box to enable the maintenance mode. Uncheck it to disable the maintenance mode.
Just after the Maintenance mode checkbox, you will see a field that allows you to enter the custom message you want to show to your customers while the maintenance mode is on.
After updating the options in the form, click on the Save Changes button given at the bottom of the form to apply the changes immediately.
