How to Install and Activate Nextend Social Login Plugin

The installation process is very easy. You can just follow the simple steps mentioned below to install and activate the plugin. 

Step 1: First, you need to log in to the WordPress admin dashboard.

Step 2: Now, you will see the option “Plugins” on the left-hand side panel of the WordPress dashboard. Click on “Plugins,” then select “Add New.”

Step 3: You will see a search bar on the top right-hand side corner of the dashboard. Now, Search “Nextend Social Login Plugin”

Step 4: After that, you need to click on “Install Now.”

How to Configure the Settings of Nextend Social Login Plugin

After activating the plugin on your site, you can start using this plugin on your site. We have explained step by step guide below on how to use this plugin, 

Step 1: First, go to the “Settings” option on the left hand side panel of the dashboard. Then select “Nextend social login.”

Step 2: You will be directed to the global setting page. You can customize many options in this section. You can disable or enable debug mode. If you disable the debug mode, it means it will not show the error messages about the possible issues from the logged-in users.

On the page for register flow, you will need to set the terms and conditions. This setting is used to request additional data from the users and display the Terms and conditions.

You can also external redirects by enabling the option “prevent external redirects overrides.” It also lets you set the default and fixed URL redirects that allow you to insert the custom URL. Thus, when your users log in or register, they land at this URL after every login or register. Select this option when you want to redirect to a specific page after logging in, regardless of the previous location.

When you enable the support login restriction, the registration with a provider will no longer allow users to log in with their social accounts. If the registration on the website is flagged for admin approval or email verification by a plugin that is supported by them. 

Once. you are done with the settings; click on “Save Changes.

Step 3: Now, you can go to the “Privacy” tab. This section will allow you to update display terms and conditions. There will be multiple options that you can enable or disable under the store section. If you do not enable the first name and last name, then it will automatically generate the username. Also, you can allow users to access their avatar profiles as well. 

Now, click on “Save Changes.”

Step 4: After that, go to “Login Form.” You can easily customize the login and registration forms in this section. You can enable or disable the login and registration buttons. The other tabs like Woo commerce, comment, and BuddyPress are accessed only in the premium version.
