How to use dns over HTTPS and clear browser cache in Firefox and Chrome

To use DNS over HTTPS (DoH) in Firefox and Chrome, and to clear the browser cache, follow the steps below:
Enable DNS over HTTPS (DoH):
Firefox:
- Open Firefox and go to the menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
- Select “Options” (or “Preferences” on macOS).
- Scroll down to the “Network Settings” section.
- Click on “Settings” beside “Enable DNS over HTTPS.”
- Choose a provider from the drop-down menu (e.g., Cloudflare, Google, or your preferred provider).
- Click “OK” to save the changes.
Chrome:
- Open the Chrome Web Store and search for “DNS Over HTTPS.”
- Find the extension by cicerakes and click “Add to Chrome” to install it.
- After installation, click on the extension icon in the toolbar and configure your preferred DNS provider.
Clear Browser Cache:
Firefox:
- Open Firefox and go to the menu (three horizontal lines) in the top right corner.
- Select “Options” (or “Preferences” on macOS).
- Scroll down to the “Privacy & Security” section.
- Under the “Cookies and Site Data” section, click on “Clear Data.”
- Check the box for “Cached Web Content” and click “Clear.”
Chrome:
- Open Chrome and go to the menu (three vertical dots) in the top right corner.
- Select “Settings.”
- Scroll down and click on “Privacy and security” in the left sidebar.
- Click on “Clear browsing data.”
- Choose a time range or select “All time” to clear all data.
- Check the box for “Cached images and files.”
- Click “Clear data.”
