To create a blog, people have to first get a domain name and a web hosting account. When they first get started, they will look for the discounts. If your competitor is providing coupon codes with attractive discounts, your competitor will win more customers.

The main billing and client management system for a hosting company is WHMCS. it allows you to create and manage coupon codes and promotions so that you can promote your product easily. Coupon codes and discounts are easy to promote than actually promoting your product. That is why hosting companies provide huge discounts on web hosting accounts in the first year.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you How to manage promotions and coupon codes in WHMCS. So, let’s get started.

Manage Promotions and Coupon codes in WHMCS

First of all, log in to the admin panel of your WHMCS. Then, click on the Setup -> Payments -> Promotions. To follow the tutorial visually, see the images given after every tutorial.

On this page, you can manage coupon codes and promotions. You can also update or delete currently active promotions. To create a new promotion, click on the Create New Promotion button given at the top-left corner of the page.

Now, Enter all the required information about the promotion. You can also generate random coupon code by clicking on the Auto Generate Code button given beside the Promotion Code field.

After entering all the required information, click on the Save Changes button given at the bottom of the form just like the following images to save the new promotion.

Then you will get the message that ‘The new promotion code was added successfully’.

As I mentioned above, on the promotions page, you can easily Duplicate, Expire, delete or update a specific promotion. The last 4 columns of the index table allows you to perform all these actions.
