It says that Windows 10 Home Edition does not support Remote Desktop.

    • Jithin says:

Windows 10 Home doesn’t include support for remote desktop connections, you can only enable this feature on Windows 10 Pro and business variants of the operating system. You can also use other RDP client alternatives. Eg, Chrome Remote Desktop. Which is a Chrome browser plugin to access the remote desktop.

Is there any options available if customer does not have a window 10 pro version? and if any instructional video available?

    • Hello Bryan,

      Greetings from InterServer support.

Simply press Windows+R and type mstsc . That should open up remote desktop connection window from most of the Windows Operating Systems.

      Have a great day.

It said something about the certificate being invalid or not trusted. I’m not sure why. I ignored it and continued and was able to log in, but do you know why that issue came up?

    • Bibin Varghese says:

Installing an RDP SSL certificate, which will remove that error. Please contact our support via live chat or ticket system [support[at]interserver[dot]net], so we can better assist you directly.

    Hi,

You need to show where to find the Computer and username info. I’ve just signed up for a VPS account and it is not clear at all where I would get these details from?

The information above assumes we have been given this information, maybe we have, but you guys have labelled it as something else.

I too am having this problem. The Support team keeps referring users to Live Chat. Wouldn’t it be simpler and more effective to publish a clear, easy-to-understand document explaining the steps to connect to your new VPS server? The specifics of the RDP UI are not the issue. The issue is that we don’t have any guidance from InterServer.net on how to get started and what to do when the session fails to connect.

Hello, I have been using your VPS service for about 1.5 years. I won’t be using your VPS service for a while. That’s why I stopped the VPS server. What do I need to do to stop bill payments?

I can see the VPs is canceled and I have removed the card from the account so you will not be charged
