How to Schedule Tasks in Plesk

You can set the scheduling in Plesk for each subscription by clicking in the Scheduled Task at the top of the screen.

How to Add New Task

To add a task you wish to run click Add Task.

Next you can specify when to run your task:

Minute – enter the value from 0 to 59

Hour – enter the value from 0 to 23

Day of the month – enter the value from 1 to 31

Month – enter the value from 1 to 12, or select the month from a drop-down box

Day of the week – enter the value from 0 to 6 (0 for Sunday), or select the day of the week from a menu.

You can enter the command of the task in the Command box. For example:

20  23  25  12  *  yum update

Run the shell script yum update on December 25 at 11:20 P.M.

Then click OK.

Receive Notifications

To receive the notifications when the task is stared:

Go to the Settings.

Here you can specify the schedule settings of task.

To run or resume the scheduled task, select the task you want to run or resume and click on Run Now button.

Remove the Task

For removing the scheduled task saved it can be easily removed by selecting the task, then click on the Remove option.
